Four of us who were in the service together during Vietnam went on a 10-day reunion cruise in 2000. We caugnt a flight down to Florida to board our cruise ship. This picture is 300 pixels high and 350 pixels wide. With the sun in the upper right corner and a white background, the breathtaking effect was not apparent. It was for this reason I chose the green backgroound that you see here. When I took this picture I had part of the Boeing 747 wing in the upper-right portion of the screen (appearing above the sun). I cropped it out, which helped to make this picture breathtaking. I also had a glare in the original picture as a result of the sun's reflection on my window interacting with the camera lens. I used the eyedropper tool in Fireworks to find the color of the area around the spot. It took many tries, but I finally decided on color #37414D. I used the air brush after magnifying the picture in order to complete the editing. The final touch in the air brush process was using the grain texture feature together with the air brush tool.
